Larry Elder named a 2025 Radio Hall of Fame nominee

Salem’s own Larry Elder has been nominated for the 2025 Radio Hall of Fame. Elder’s media began in 1988 and he has been a staple of the radio world for more than 30 years.
The 24 nominees were chosen by the Radio Hall of Fame Nominating Committee, with input from the radio industry and listeners.
Voting for inductees begins Tuesday, May 27, and runs through Monday, June 16. The six people receiving the most votes will gain induction as part of the 2025 Radio Hall of Fame Induction class. The two additional inductees that will make up the eight-person induction class will be selected by the Radio Hall of Fame Nominating Committee.
Nearly 1,000 industry members will receive a ballot on Tuesday, May 27, to cast votes. The confidential ballot will be conducted by Votem.com, and overseen by Miller Kaplan‘s Andrew Rosen.
The total of eight Radio Hall of Fame inductees for 2025 will be announced on Monday, June 30, and will be honored at the 2025 Radio Hall of Fame induction ceremony on Thursday, October 30, at the Swissotel Hotel in Chicago.
Other nominees include Alice Cooper, Colin Cowherd, D.L. Hughley, Funkmaster Flex and more.
