Mexico judicial reform’s secondary laws to be presented in coming days

Mexico’s Supreme Court elects a new president in Mexico City

MEXICO CITY (Reuters) – Laws that will implement a recently enacted judicial overhaul in Mexico should be presented in Congress in the coming days, said lower house leader Ricardo Monreal on Friday.

The constitutional reform stipulates that all judges be elected by popular vote over the next three years.
