MEXICO CITY (Reuters) – Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum said on Wednesday that she had sent a diplomatic memo to the United States about security collaboration at the two countries’ shared border.

A day earlier, the U.S. government announced an emergency transfer of nearly 110,000 acres of federal land along the U.S.-Mexico border to the Army to help prevent illegal immigration.
