Trump signs executive order targeting Susman Godfrey law firm

(Reuters) – President Donald Trump on Wednesday signed an executive order targeting the law firm Susman Godfrey that would prevent lawyers at the firm from accessing government resources and buildings, among other things.

White House aide Will Scharf said the order resembles previous actions the Trump administration has taken against other law firms that have been involved in the “weaponization of government or actions of lawfare.”
