10 Known Venezuelan Gang Members Arrested In Colorado In Connection To Apartment Takeovers

6 days ago The Aurora Police Department has confirmed they are actively investigating reports that members of a violent Venezuelan gang, Tren de Aragua, have been taking over apartment complexes in Colorado and committing violent crimes.
They have also announced that 10 members of the gang have been arrested for felonious crimes committed at numerous apartment complexes including child abuse, attempted first-degree murder, multiple assaults & shootings, and hit and run crashes. One of the men faces a total of 38 charges in three different Colorado counties.
APD releasing a statement saying

"Two of individuals who were taken into custody were involved in a July shooting at one of the specific properties in the city,’ and that their gang activity has ‘significantly affected those properties.’
Governor Jared Polis made Colorado a sanctuary state in 2019, meaning it does not enforce immigration law or cooperate with ICE officers.
