3 People Shot At ICE Center In Dallas, Shooter Dead

3 hours ago DALLAS — Federal authorities say three people, including detainees, were shot Wednesday morning at a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement facility in Dallas. The gunman is dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Acting ICE Director Todd Lyons confirmed no ICE agents were injured in the attack. Homeland Security officials believe the shooter opened fire from a nearby apartment, targeting both law enforcement and detainees.
Dallas police said two victims were rushed to Parkland Hospital, while a third person died at the scene. Dozens of emergency vehicles lined the freeway outside the facility, bringing traffic to a standstill.
Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem said details are still emerging but noted a concerning uptick in violence aimed at ICE officers. A full briefing is expected later today.
