3 U.S. Service Members Killed In Operation Epic Fury

As of 9:30 a.m. ET on March 1, three U.S. service members have been killed in action during Operation Epic Fury, the ongoing U.S. military campaign in the Middle East. Five others are seriously wounded, and several additional personnel sustained minor shrapnel injuries and concussions. Those with minor injuries are being returned to duty.
Major combat operations are continuing, and U.S. officials say the situation remains fluid. Out of respect for the families, further details — including the identities of the fallen — will be withheld until at least 24 hours after next of kin have been notified.
President Donald Trump warned on Truth Social that Iran has threatened retaliation. He wrote, “They better not do that, however, because if they do, we will hit them with a force that has never been seen before!”
The deaths mark the first confirmed U.S. combat fatalities since the start of Operation Epic Fury, launched in response to escalating tensions with Iran following joint strikes with Israel earlier this week.
