Biden -Harris Administration 'Toughens' Restrictions At Border With Election Just Over A Month Away
7 weeks ago
The Biden - Harris administration is being criticized for announcing tougher restrictions at the Southern border, with the election just over a month away.
Many are saying the administration, which oversaw the most illegal migrants to ever cross the U.S. Mexico border, is playing to the voters, making superficial moves that should have been made years ago.
The new rules ban migrants from being granted asylum when 2,500 illegals per day have crossed. For the restrictions to be lifted, the daily numbers had to average 1500 per day for a week, and now it must average 1500 per day for a month.
But many are pointing out it never got that low in the first place, so the new rules- which go into effect today- are just a show.
Since the start of the Biden – Harris Administration at least 8 million illegal migrants have crossed the border, not including the 2 million gotaways.
