Bomb Threats Aimed At Flights Across Europe
21 hours ago
(London) -- Over a dozen commercial flights across Europe have received bomb threats this morning. "The Guardian" says the first bomb threat was for an Aer Lingus flight from Dublin to Rome. That was followed a short while later by bomb threats directed at three flights to Bulgaria, and then a Polish flight from Warsaw to Brussels. Two flights from Helsinki and several flights to Prague also received bomb threats. So far, all the threats appear to be hoaxes, but police in Prague said, "We do not underestimate the threat," and that "Upon landing, pyrotechnic inspections will be conducted on all aircraft."
