Clancy Trial Request Denied

(Plymouth, MA) - Lindsay Clancy's attorneys have been denied a request to question the juror who forced a mistrial in her triple-murder case in Massachusetts. Judge William Sullivan said "any further judicial inquiry is inappropriate," adding that any issues about the holdout juror that came to light after the mistrial was declared are "simply not relevant." Clancy pleaded not guilty by reason of insanity to three murder charges stemming from the 2023 deaths of her three children. Sullivan declared a mistrial after seven weeks, when a 12-person jury failed to reach a unanimous verdict.
