Clinton Weighs In On Stevens Endorsement
Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton says Haley Stevens' last-minute decision to endorse Republican candidate Mike Rogers in Michigan's Senate race could backfire. The former First Lady said she has "no idea" what informed the Democratic representative's thinking, but believes it could end up helping Michigan's Democratic candidate Abdul El-Sayed. Stevens revoked her original endorsement of the Democrat after weeks of feuding with him over his positions on Israel. El-Sayed brushed off Stevens's switch, telling reporters, he doesn't "think about Haley Stevens."
