Colorado Governor Candidate Victor Marx: Affordability & Accountability - Midterms 2026

Victor Marx, the Republican nominee for governor of Colorado, discusses his campaign and the state's current challenges in an insightful interview. With Colorado having not elected a Republican governor in two decades, Marx shares his optimism about breaking this trend. He emphasizes the state's pressing issues, such as affordability and safety, and how these concerns resonate with voters across party lines. Marx highlights the importance of accountability and responsible spending, contrasting his vision with the socialist ideologies gaining traction, especially among younger voters. He also addresses the impact of Californian transplants on Colorado's political landscape, advocating for policies that prevent the state from adopting California's issues. The discussion underscores Marx's commitment to engaging with all Coloradans and his strategy to mobilize unaffiliated voters, who he believes will play a decisive role in the election.
