Darline Graham has officially been sworn in as South Carolina's newest U.S. senator, taking office just three days after the death of her brother, longtime Sen. Lindsey Graham.
Governor Henry McMaster appointed Graham to serve the remainder of her brother's term, which ends in January.
A special election later this year will determine who will serve the next full Senate term after Republican voters choose a nominee.
