Daycare Closed After Gun Scare

(Richmond, VA) - Virginia police have arrested a daycare center director after a two-year-old child allegedly found and put her loaded gun in their mouth. According to the state's Department of Social Services, the toddler took the firearm from an unzipped fanny pack that was left on the floor, placing it barrel side in their mouth. That director and another staff member were reportedly looking at their phones at the time. The daycare center, which has not had a clean inspection since March 10th, is temporarily closed for investigation.
