Federal investigators say remains of several geese were found on the wreckage of a sightseeing helicopter that crashed into the Hudson River last year, killing six people.
A report released by the National Transportation Safety Board says evidence from the wreckage and witness accounts suggest the helicopter may have struck multiple birds before plunging into the river on April 10, 2025.
The crash killed the pilot and five passengers. Investigators continue to examine the circumstances surrounding the crash as they work to determine its cause.
