House Approves $95 Billion Funding Package
12 hours ago
House Republicans have approved a sweeping $95 billion funding package aimed at supporting the U.S. military campaign against Iran while advancing several of President Donald Trump's domestic priorities.
The legislation includes $73 billion for the Pentagon to fund military operations and defense initiatives related to the conflict with Iran. It also provides $12 billion in aid for American farmers impacted by tariffs and $10 billion for election-related initiatives.
The measure passed largely along party lines after Republican leaders argued the funding is necessary to strengthen national security and support key domestic programs.
The bill now moves to the Senate, where its fate is uncertain as lawmakers debate both the size of the package and its spending priorities.
