Lowes Ditching ‘Woke’ Policies After Public Pressure

Lowes Home Improvement is ditching some of their Diversity, Equity and Inclusion policies after getting pressure from people who say they intended on making the policies public.
The internal memo, that outlined the retailers plan to reverse their ‘woke’ policies detailed the changes including cutting off involvement with the Human rights campaign, which is an advocacy group that conducts surveys used to gauge policies and practices pertinent to LGBTQ employees.
Lowe's is also combining resource groups into a single organization and will no longer take part in parades or festivals.
The home improvement giant has previously sponsored participation in local pride parades.
