Major Hurricane Polo Intensifies Off Mexico's Pacific Coast

Hurricane Polo is maintaining its strength as a powerful Category 5 storm off the coast of southwestern Mexico. The National Hurricane Center says Polo is about 355 miles south-southeast of Manzanillo, with winds reaching 165 miles per hour. The storm is not expected to make landfall in the U.S., but forecasters say it will remain a major hurricane over the next several days.
