A California man accused of storming the White House Correspondents’ Association dinner armed with guns and knives has pleaded not guilty to federal charges.

Prosecutors say Cole Tomas Allen attempted to kill President Donald Trump and fired a shotgun at a Secret Service officer during the incident.

Allen appeared in federal court Monday wearing an orange jail uniform and restraints as his attorney entered the plea on his behalf.
