Man Who Sprayed MN Rep. Omar With Vinegar Sentenced To 14 Months In Prison

(Minneapolis, MN) -- The man accused of spraying Minnesota Congresswoman Ilhan Omar with a syringe filled with apple cider vinegar during a town hall was sentenced today to 14 months behind bars. Anthony Kazmierczak pleaded guilty to assaulting and interfering with a U.S. officer. The attack happened in January 27th in Minneapolis. Kazmierczak admitted that he had been planning the incident for weeks.
