(Washington, DC) -- Vice President Vance says foreign workers at Microsoft will no longer be able to apply for permanent resident status in the U.S. through an employer-based program. Vance accused the tech company of abusing the process, and it's now suspended from the permanent labor certification program. The program allows companies to hire foreign workers to work permanently in the U.S. Vance said at a press conference that he wants Microsoft to thrive in the U.S., but to employ American workers.
