Netanyahu Rejects Trump’s Gaza Plan

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has rejected President Donald Trump’s latest 15-point plan for Gaza, saying Israeli forces will not withdraw from the territory until Hamas is fully disarmed.
In televised remarks Sunday, Netanyahu said Israel would require the dismantling of all Hamas weaponry before any military withdrawal. The position puts Israel at odds with the U.S.-backed proposal, which calls for Hamas to disarm in exchange for a phased Israeli withdrawal from Gaza. Negotiations between U.S. and Israeli officials over implementation of the plan are continuing.
