NYC Mayor Eric Adams Indicted After Investigation ‘Payback Over Criticism Of Illegal Migrant Crisis’

New York City Mayor Eric Adams has been indicted following a federal investigation. This follows several of his close administration members also being indicted over the past few months.
Adams responded to the indictment saying it’s payback for speaking out about illegal migrant crisis,
"I always knew that If I stood my ground for New Yorkers that I would be a target -- and a target I became. If I am charged, I am innocent and I will fight this with every ounce of my strength and spirit."
