Pennsylvania County Flips Majority of Registered Voters To Republican

3 weeks ago Data released by Pennsylvania State Department this week revealed that the majority of registered voters in Luzerne County are now Republicans.
This is the first time since 1970 that the GOP has led in the county in registrations.
According to local media 87,415 of the county's almost 204 thousand registered voters are Republicans and 87,332 are Democrats. There are also about 28,000 unaffiliated or third party voters.
The Democrat hold on the county has been declining since 2014.
The county’s republican party saying they are excited that their work is getting out and being heard, but they realize there is much work to do before the November 5th election.
