Police: Mass Shooting Plot Thwarted At Illinois House Of Worship

A 19-year-old Illinois man is facing felony charges after authorities say he threatened a mass attack.
Police arrested Alexandros Paporakis Sunday. Prosecutors say he had an AR-style rifle, 300 rounds of ammunition, and plans to kill as many minorities as possible.
Court documents say he also wrote an 8-page manifesto targeting people of Indian descent at a Hindu place of worship.
Paporakis is charged with making a terroristic threat and unlawful weapons possession.
The case remains under investigation.
