President Biden Continues Fighting To Save His Reelection Effort

12 weeks ago President Joe Biden, fighting to save his endangered reelection effort, said his disastrous debate performance last week was a “bad episode” and there were “no indications of any serious condition” in a highly anticipated interview with ABC’s George Stephanopoulos.

He repeatedly rejected taking an independent medical evaluation that would show voters he is up for serving another term in office.

Biden told Stephanopoulos the only way he would consider getting out of the race would be “...if the Lord Almighty comes down and tells me that, I might do that.”. When asked if he had watched the debate against Donald Trump, Biden said he didn’t think so… he later reiterated, “I just had a bad night, and I don’t know why.”

Democrat Senator Mark Warner of Virginia is talking to fellow senators about whether to encourage the president to exit the race.
