Salem Media Honors Charlie Kirk With One-Year Anniversary Special

One year after the assassination of Charlie Kirk, Salem Media is honoring his life and legacy with a special anniversary tribute airing Thursday across its radio, television and digital platforms.
“Faith Over Fear: The Charlie Kirk Story” traces Kirk’s journey from starting Turning Point USA in his parents’ garage to becoming one of the most prominent conservative voices of his generation.
The special tells Kirk’s story largely through his own voice, drawing on rare archival interviews and recordings from throughout his career. That includes audio from his first interview with longtime Salem host Dennis Prager when Kirk was just 22 years old.
Salem hosts Mike Gallagher, Larry O’Connor and Alex Marlow narrate the special, with a special appearance by Larry Elder.
“For so many of us at Salem, this is deeply personal,” Salem Media CEO David Santrella said in announcing the tribute. “We watched Charlie grow from a young activist with a big idea into a national leader.”
The special airs Thursday at noon Eastern on Salem Radio Network. Salem News Channel will present the television broadcast Thursday night at 8 p.m. Eastern.
