Shouting Match Erupts At Secret Service Hearing Over Trump’s Assassination Attempts
4 weeks ago
The congressional hearing delving into the assassination attempts on President Donald Trump erupted into a shouting match between Acting Secret Service director Ronald Rowe and Congressman Pat Fallon after the Republican from Texas Ripped the agencies failures, Rowe’s decision to wait days before visiting the Butler Pennsylvania site and accused Rowe of rubbing shoulders with Biden on 9/11 instead of standing near his detail.
Fallon asking Rowe,
“Who is usually at an event like this closest to the President of the United States?”
Fallon pointed to a photo where Trump was standing without an agent next to him. Instead it showed Rowe standing in a place to get him noticed.
“Were you the special agent in charge of the detail that day?”
“Actually, let me address this, Actually, congressman, what you’re not seeing is the SAC [Special Agent In Charge] of the detail out of the picture’s view. And that is the day where we remember more than 3,000 people that have died on 9/11.”
“I am not asking you that. I am asking, were you the special agent in charge? You were not? Oh that’s a bunch of horse hockey.”
“You know why you were there, because you wanted to be visible, because you are auditioning for this job that you’re not going to get”
