Strengthening Nor'easter Threatens East Coast With Floods, Outages

A powerful storm over the Atlantic is building up strength as it heads toward the Northeast. The early season nor'easter is expected to pummel the region over the weekend with gusty winds and driving rain. Storm conditions are expected to begin today along the coast from New Jersey to Massachusetts, with a lot of rain predicted in southern New England, especially near Cape Cod.
