Texas AG Ken Paxton Scores Victory Against Taxpayer Funded 'Gender Transition' Surgeries

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton racked up a major victory after winning a Nationwide Stay Blocking the Biden- Harris Administration From Forcing Taxpayer Funded Hospitals and healthcare providers to conduct Gender Transition Surgeries.
Texas had already won a stay of agency action that blocked the rule from enforcement in Texas and Montana.
Then, applying the same logic, he argued for nationwide relief, which the court granted.
In May 2024, the Biden- Harris Administration issued a new rule that
healthcare providers who refuse to perform or pay for experimental, unproven, and potentially dangerous “gender transition” procedures - could be stripped of all federal healthcare funds, including Medicaid and Medicare dollars.
Paxton sued and won saying,
“When Biden and Harris sidestep the Constitution to force their unlawful, extremist agenda on the American public, we are fighting back and stopping them. Texas has delivered a major victory for Americans across the country.”
