Texas Assigning Inspectors To Monitor Presidential Election In Houston

8 weeks ago The Texas Secretary of State’s Office has announced that they are sending state inspectors to watch over the Presidential Election in Harris County. The Agency saying they’ll be watching how the ballots are handled and counted after a new audit found numerous problems with the county’s elections in 2021 and 2022.
The recently released audit, found that Harris County election officials did not follow state-mandated rules when it came to voter registration lists, properly training election workers, and didn’t provide the required ballot paper at some polling locations – which led to issues.
the Secretary of State’s Office said that current Harris County election officials, who didn’t oversee the elections included in the audit, are working to address the problems and fix the issues.
