Third Victim Dies Following Downtown Austin Shooting

A third victim has died following Sunday morning’s mass shooting in downtown Austin.
Thirty-year-old Jorge Pederson was taken off life support Monday. Austin Police Department officials identified the two other victims killed as 19-year-old Ryder Harrington and 21-year-old Savitha Shan. Two additional patients remain in critical condition.
Police say a gunman wearing a shirt displaying an Iranian flag opened fire, injuring dozens and killing three people. Officers shot and killed the suspect at the scene.
The investigation remains ongoing.
