Transgender NSA Employee Sues Over Executive Order

A transgender employee at the National Security Agency has filed a lawsuit against the Trump administration, challenging a presidential executive order that requires the federal government to recognize only two sexes.

Filed in federal court in Maryland, the lawsuit argues that the policy violates federal civil rights law and creates a hostile work environment for the employee, an NSA data scientist.

The plaintiff is seeking to block enforcement of the executive order and is also pursuing financial damages.
