Trump Judge Juan Merchan Sued For Refusing To Turn Over Financial Disclosures

New York State Supreme Court Judge Juan Merchan is being sued by America First Legal because he is refusing to turn over his financial disclosures as questions continue to circulate over his daughters work at a Democratic firm that represented the likes of President Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris.
Merchan presided over President Donald Trump’s six weeklong so-called Hush Money trial in New York – with Trump, his supporters and politicians all claiming that Merchan was politically motivated during the trial.
The lawsuit comes after the AFL sent a demand letter last week, and back in June for Merchan’s financial disclosures.
New York law says judges are required to make financial disclosures available upon request.
