Trump Pulls Ahead Of Harris In Major Poll Ahead Of First Debate

5 weeks ago President Donald Trump has officially pulled ahead of Kamala Harris in a national poll, signaling that her ‘honeymoon’ momentum has died out going into Tuesday’s debate.
According to a New York Times / Siena College Poll Trump edged Harris out 48% to 47% among likely voters nationally.
The left leaning times noted that Trump’s 'support remains remarkably resilient' despite Harris taking over for Biden, and the hoopla of the DNC.
Historically Dems have the edge in national polls but now 55% say Harris represents "more of the same," while 61% say Trump represents "change."
The poll also shows that Trump is more favorable now than he was when he was elected in 2016 and has a 5-point lead on Harris on whichever the most important issue was to a voter.
