Trump was joined at the White House by Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy, Acting Labor Secretary Keith Sonderling, and Veterans Affairs Secretary Doug Collins - as he announced "the Freedom Haulers initiative."
The program is designed to create more opportunities for military veterans to become commercial truck drivers, with the administration saying it aims to replace unqualified migrant truck drivers with qualified American veterans.
