Trump Warns Texas Voters About Democratic Senate Candidate
1 day ago
President Donald Trump is urging Texas voters to support Republicans in the upcoming midterm elections as the GOP works to maintain its narrow majority in Congress.
Speaking at a campaign rally in San Antonio Wednesday night, Trump warned that electing Democratic Senate candidate James Talarico could threaten Republican control and lead to changes in federal immigration and border security policies.
Trump emphasized the importance of the Texas Senate race, arguing that even one additional Democratic vote in Congress could have significant consequences for the Republican legislative agenda.
The president also warned that Democrats would reverse his administration's border security policies if they regained control of Congress.
