The U.S.-backed Board of Peace is proposing a six-month, $2.45 billion plan to begin rebuilding and governing Gaza.
The 66-project blueprint includes temporary housing, infrastructure repairs, hospital rehabilitation, economic recovery and a multinational security force.
The plan is designed to support President Trump's 20-point proposal to end the Israel-Hamas war, but major hurdles remain, including securing funding and cooperation from Israel and Hamas.
The ceasefire that took effect October 10th was intended to clear the way for the broader reconstruction effort under the Board of Peace.
