TSA Says Labor Day Holiday Expected To Be Busiest On Record

7 weeks ago The Transportation Security Administration is saying that this Labor Day holiday is expected to be their busiest travel period on record.
In fact, TSA said that more than 17 million people would pass through security between last Thursday through this Wednesday – capping off what they call another busy summer of travel.
According the Bureau of Labor Statistics, airfares were down almost 3% from last year but that’s still almost 30% more than they were in 2021.
And, AAA says although gas is down about 50 cents from this time last year at $3.35 a gallon, it’s still significantly higher than it was in 2020, when the national average was $2.17 a gallon… and it’s expected to increase after September.
