Two Plead Not Guilty In Alleged Plot To Attack Trump UFC Event

Two men have pleaded not guilty to federal conspiracy charges in connection with an alleged plot to attack President Donald Trump's UFC event on the White House lawn.
Tycen Proper, 19, of Ohio, and Chandler Scaggs, 21, of West Virginia, entered their pleas Thursday in federal court in Columbus, Ohio. Their trial is scheduled to begin September 14.
Prosecutors allege the two men were among eight people involved in a plot to use drones and snipers to attack the UFC Freedom 250 event, which was held in June as part of celebrations marking the nation's 250th anniversary.
The defendants face charges including conspiracy to provide material support to terrorists and conspiracy to commit murder on federal government property and of a federal government official.
