United States, UK To Give An Additional $1.5B In Aid To Ukraine

6 days ago The United States and Britain pledged to give Ukraine an addition $1.5 billion dollars in aid, during a visit to the country by their top diplomats.
Ukrainian officials used the visit to ask for more missiles that they can use against targets deeper inside Russia.
U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken announcing that more than $700 million dollars would be given in humanitarian aid, while British Foreign Secretary David Lammy confirmed that his country would provide another $782 million in assistance and loan guarantees.
About $290 million will go to food, water, shelter, health care and education programs for Ukrainians in the country and refugees outside the country.
The remaining $102 million will be used for mine-removal work.
This comes about a week after the U.S. announced it would send $250 Million more in weapons to Ukraine, including air-defense missiles and artillery.
