U.S. Naval Pressure Builds Amid Iran Nuclear Talks

Iran and the United States are both applying naval pressure as tensions surrounding Tehran’s nuclear negotiations continue.

Tehran held military drills Thursday alongside Russia, while the U.S. moved another aircraft carrier — the USS Gerald R. Ford — closer to the Middle East.

The additional deployment of warships and aircraft does not guarantee a strike, but it does give President Donald Trump the option should he choose to act.
