U.S. State Department Advises American Citizens In Lebanon To Book Any Flight Out

The UK Prime Minister has told Britons in Lebanon, “now is the time to leave,” as rocket fire continues to be exchanged between Israel and Hezbollah.
An estimated 10,000 British citizens are in the country which borders the north of Israel and hosts the Iran-backed militia.
The British Defence Secretary has sent around 700 troops to the nearby island of Cyprus where the UK has a military base, in case evacuations are needed.
Border Force and Foreign Office officials are on standby too.
Lebanese authorities believe over 500 people have been killed by days of Israeli strikes across Lebanon.
