U.S. Troops On The Ground In Iran 'Not Planned, But Possible'

President Donald Trump told reporters aboard Air Force One that while deploying U.S. troops on the ground in Iran is “not planned,” it remains a possibility under certain circumstances.
Trump said, “I don’t even want to talk about it now… Could there be? Possibly for very good reason. Have to, have to be a very good reason. And I would say if we ever did that, they would be so decimated that they wouldn’t be able to fight at the ground level.”
The comments come amid ongoing U.S.-Israeli military operations against Iran and escalating tensions in the Middle East. Officials have said current plans focus on airstrikes and naval operations, but Trump’s remarks highlight that ground operations could not be entirely ruled out.
