Victims Identified In GA School Shooting, As Police Say Gunman Flagged By FBI In 2023

1 week ago The four victims who were killed during a shooting at a Georgia Highschool have been identified by Authorities.
The two students were both 14 years old, Mason Schermerhorn and Christian Angulo. Math teachers Richard Aspinwall and Christina Irmie were also killed. Aspinwall an assistant football coach.
14-year-old Colt Gray – the teenager that police say opened fire on his fellow students – is facing murder charges, officials say he will be charged as an adult.

Federal authorities say Gray was flagged by the FBI last year for threatening to carry out a school shooting. The teen allegedly made the threats online and included photos of guns.
According to reports the high school received phone threat earlier in the day, warning that there would be shootings at five schools, and that Apalachee would be the first.
Gray surrendered when approached by the school resource officer and was arrested.
