Voter Harvesting Schemes To Remain Banned In Texas Through November Election, Judge Rules

16 hours ago Attorney General Ken Paxton racked up a major win for the state of Texas after he secured a stay from 5th circuit Court of Appeals, allowing the ban on voter harvesting schemes to remain through the November election.
Paxton filed suit after a judge ruled that the ban violated the constitution, and also banned the AG from investigating violations.
Paxton immediately appealed and won saying
“We fought hard to ensure that the Texas laws protecting the ballot box will be in full force and effect this election season. I will continue to do everything in my power to protect the integrity of our political process.”
