40 Trillion Gallons Of Rain Dumped On Southern US By Hurricane Helene

The Southeast United States was drenched with more than 40 trillion gallons of rain last week from Hurricane Helene.
Something that stunned experts with the head of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration saying it’s something he hasn’t seen in 25 years of working at the weather service.
The sheer volume that fell from the sky is enough to fill more than 60 million Olympic -size swimming pools.
The damage from the hurricane is being described as apocalyptic, as entire neighborhoods have been destroyed, tens of thousands were left without power and as of Tuesday more than 130 people died, according to officials.
