5 Shot At Georgia Army Base; Suspect In Custody

The conditions of the soldiers and the circumstances of the shooting weren’t immediately clear Wednesday, nor was the identity of the shooter. The army said the shooter was arrested and there’s no threat to the community. Fort Stewart is the largest Army post east of the Mississippi River. It’s home to thousands of soldiers assigned to the Army’s 3rd Infantry Division and family members.
