The Republican National Committee appealed after a Fulton County Judge decided the measures were illegal and void – asking the court to temporarily block the ruling and allow the rules to go into effect while they weigh the decision.
The Rules call for hand counting ballots, to make sure the total matches the Machine count, and allowing county boards hold off on certifying the results until after "a reasonable inquiry" into their accuracy, among others.
