Celebrities are in full supply at Trump’s inauguration this time around… a far different situation than trump faced at his first inauguration.
Mainstream entertainers from Nelly to Carrie Underwood are more publicly and more enthusiastically associating with the new administration. Kid Rock, Billy Ray Cyrus, The Village People and Lee Greenwood all performed at a MAGA style rally Sunday. Those performing at inaugural balls include Nelly, country music band Rascal Flatts, country singer Jason Aldean and singer-songwriter Gavin DeGraw. Following the election, criticism from celebrities has also been quieter than in 2017.
TikTok restores service, thanks Trump/Chinese Parent company still finding a buyer
TikTok says it’s restoring service to users in the United States just hours after the popular video-sharing platform went dark in response to a federal ban. The announcement on X came after President-elect Donald Trump said on Sunday that he planned to pause the ban by executive order on his first day in office. Trump says the order would give TikTok’s China-based parent company more time to find an approved buyer. Millions of U.S. TikTok users were unable to access the TikTok app and platform starting late Saturday. But by Sunday afternoon it was back.
